A group of protesting women under the name “Women’s Movement for Freedom” asked the international community to recognize gender apartheid in Afghanistan.
The members of the women’s movement for freedom, today (Sunday, 2rd of September) by gathering in a closed place, asked to recognize the gender apartheid that women in Afghanistan are suffering for the past two years under the rule of the Taliban.
While protesting the tolerant approach of the world countries towards the Taliban, these women said that this terrorist group should not be recognized by the international community.
Expressing their concern about the increase in crimes against women in Afghanistan, protesting women said that the international community should stop the purposive killing of women by the Taliban.
The extensive bans on all areas of women’s lives in Afghanistan resulted in many national and international reactions.
This is while the hunger strike of several Afghan women’s rights activists is going on in Cologne, Germany, in protest against the anti-women policies of the Taliban in Afghanistan.
