The delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, in a meeting with prominent members of the Taliban, asked to expand education at all levels for girls and boys in Afghanistan.
According to the statement of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the delegation of this organization emphasized in the meeting with the ministers of education and higher education of the Taliban: “With the agreement of the scholars of the Ummah, education is an Islamic duty for men and women.”
This statement wrote that the delegation emphasized to the ministers of higher education and education of the Taliban that the generalization of education from basic to specialization is the need of today’s society.
In this statement, it is also acknowledged that the delegation of this organization obtained a report that informs about the Taliban’s efforts to revise the curriculum and the conditions for creating a safe environment for girls in Afghanistan.
