On the sixth day of the hunger strike of Afghan protesting women in Germany, Tamanna Zaryab Pariyani said that she will continue this strike until the end of her life to achieve her goal.
Zaryab Pariyni said that until the German Parliament and the United Nations do not respond to the demand of these women, which is the recognition of gender apartheid in Afghanistan, they will continue their hunger strike.
Temanna Zaryab Pariyani said today (Wednesday, the 6th of September): “I will not pass my goal, I will not stop my strike, I will not stop my strike until gender apartheid is recognized in Afghanistan, even if I die.”
This hunger strike, which launched on the 2nd of September on Friday in Cologne, Germany, is supposed to continue for twelve days.
However, Pariyani emphasized that despite the severe health of some of these protesting women, they will continue their strike for 12 days if the governments and international organizations ignore it.
By passing of six days and the support of a number of organizations and movements supporting women’s rights to the demands of these Afghan women, the German government and the international community did not reacted to this protest and sit-in.
