Luis Rubiales, the president of the Spanish Football Federation, resigned from his position.
Rubiales, the head of the Spanish Football Federation, is criticized a lot for kissing the lips of Jenni Hermoso, the striker of the women’s football team of this country, after winning the Women’s World Cup final.
Hermoso said after the championship ceremony that this kiss was not with her consent and complained of Rubiales.
Rubiales, who previously announced his resignation from the position of Vice President of the Executive Committee of the European Football Union (UEFA) executive committee, after announcing his resignation as president of the Spanish Football Federation, said in a television program: “I cannot continue my work.”
Luis Rubiales previously refused to agree to repeated requests to resign from his position.
