Human Rights Watch asked for funding and financial support for Afghan women

The Human Rights Watch organization published specific proposals for the United Nations Human Rights Council meeting on the X social network.

Human Rights Watch called for funding and support for women-led organizations, human rights supportive organizations, and the launch of online training and career programs for women.
In this article, it is stated that Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, International Commission of Jurists, etc. have adopted the position that the Taliban committed crimes against humanity and sexual harassment and should be prosecuted by the International Criminal Court.
Human Rights Watch also called for the establishment of a new accountability mechanism for Afghanistan to document all crimes committed, especially crimes against women, by collecting documents and evidence.
At the same time, this organization emphasized the continuation of the mission of the UN Special Rapporteur on Afghanistan and the extension of the UNAMA mission in Afghanistan.
This is despite the fact that a day before, the deputy of the Women’s Department of the Human Rights Watch accused the world for indifference to the situation of women in Afghanistan.
