A girl and her father is murdered in Herat city

Sources in Herat province say that a girl and her father is murdered by unknown armed men in the 9th district of Herat city.
According to the sources of Ravi Zan media, this incident happened in afternoon (Wednesday, 13th of September) in the minaret area, in the 9th district of Herat city.
The father of this girl named Mohammad Ayoub, who was shot dead along with his daughter after the armed men attacked their house, and according to the sources, another daughter of this family is seriously injured.
The sources added that this family was the original resident of Ghorian district of Herat, but they had been living in Herat city for some time.
The spokesman of the Taliban security command in Herat, while confirming the murder of the daughter and father, claimed that the murder is done by armed robbers.
According to him, the armed robbers managed to escape, but the search operation of the Taliban forces continues to arrest the accused.
After the Taliban took control of Afghanistan, the cases of targeted and mysterious killing of women increased, which caused concern and strong reaction from international women’s rights organizations.
