The names of five women referees are included in the list of referees of the Asian Nations Cup

The Asian Football Confederation announced the names of seventy-four referees for the Asian Football Nations Cup. For the first time, five female referees will judge the games in the most important national football competitions of this continent.
In less than four months, the 18th round of the Asian Nations Cup will begin, hosted by Qatar, with the participation of the top 24 teams.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced that Katherine Jacewicz from Australia, Yoshimi Yamashita from Japan, Kyungmin Kim
from South Korea, Makoto Bozono along with Naomi Teshirogi from Japan will be referees and female assistant referees for this tournament for the first time. In the history of Asian football, judging men’s games.
It is said that all the referees selected are from East Asia and Australia and no female referee is selected from West Asia.
China supposed to host the Asian Nations Cup this year; But due to the re-emergence of the corona virus in this country, the Asian Football Confederation announced the withdrawal of China and the hosting went to Qatar.
