A woman and eight men were flagellated by the Taliban court in Zabul Province

Nine people, including a woman, were flagellated by the Taliban arbitration court in Zabul province.
The newsletter of the Taliban Supreme Court wrote that on Sunday, the 17th of September, nine people, including a woman, were flagellated in Zabul province for the crimes of theft, illicit relations and illegal marriage.
This newsletter said that the verdict issued before noon prayer in the presence of a crowd of Taliban leaders and citizens of Zabul.
It should be mentioned that the Taliban have been trying to implement Sharia (Islamic) rules in public since the past until now, and during the republic, they flagellated, executed or even stoned the accused in the areas under their control in field courts.
In the past two years, after the Taliban regained power in Afghanistan, at least six people were executed in the provinces of Farah, Herat, Laghman and Kandahar in the presence of high-ranking officials of this group.
