The US special representative for Afghanistan says that during his meeting with Afghan women’s rights activists, there was a discussion about the education, work, and free travel of Afghan women.
Thomas West, the US special representative for Afghanistan, wrote on X social network that in the presence of Rina Amiri, the US special representative for women and human rights in Afghanistan, he pointed out the violated rights of Afghan women by the Taliban.
He added that he met with the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Norway, Japan, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and emphasized supporting women’s rights in Afghanistan.
These statements are made while in the latest case, the Acting Minister of Higher Education of the Taliban said that we do not need advice to remove the ban on education for girls in Afghanistan.
In his controversial speeches, he called the organizations and personalities who comment on this matter ignorant.
