The Spontaneous Movement of Women Protesters of Afghanistan expressed concern about the situation of Julia Parsi and her son in the prison of the Taliban.
The members of this movement said that twenty-four hours after Julia Parsi and her son’s arrest, they did not know about her whereabouts and her situation.
The Taliban arrested Julia Parsi and her son from her house in Kabul on Wednesday (the 27th of September).
Julia Parsi is one of the women’s rights activists and at the same time one of the women protesting against the anti-women policies of the Taliban.
Previously, Neda Parwani was arrested with her husband and four-year-old child from Kabul by the Taliban forces, and almost ten days passed, and there is no information about her fate.
The members of the Spontaneous Movement of Afghan Women Protesters said that these two protesting women and their families should be released from the custody of the Taliban immediately.
Until now, human rights organizations have not expressed their opinion about Julia Parsi’s arrest.
