Parissa Azada, a female protester, has been released after spending 41 days in Taliban captivity, according to reliable sources.
Tamana Zariab Paryani, a women’s rights activist, announced on Monday, December 25, through her social media page, confirming the liberation of Parissa Azada from Taliban custody.
She expressed her anticipation for the freedom of all prisoners while hoping for Afghanistan’s liberation from the clutches of terrorists and torturers.
Sources close to Parissa Azada’s family have also corroborated her release.
However, the current condition of this protesting woman and the terms of her release remain unclear.
Parissa Azada was detained on November 15 in the Dasht-e Barchi area of Kabul by Taliban intelligence.
